Bujumbura International Montessori School (BIMS) is a private bilingual educational center dedicated to providing quality education for children of all nationalities residing in Bujumbura. It was founded by Mr. and Mrs. TANZER in 2006. It started very modestly with 62 pre-school children enrolled in Bujumbura International Montessori Kindergarten. Today BIMS consists of the Crèche, Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary school sections with more than six hundred children.

BIMS is recruiting teachers for the academic year 2022-2023, starting in September 2022 in the following positions: Secondary Business, Senior Math/Physics Teacher, ICT teacher, Primary teacher and Class Assistant.

Applicants should at least have an Education Degree in the applied field; have recognized experience in International schools, experience in teaching Edexcel International GCSE is an asset; be fluent in English; be computer competent, be dynamic and a team player in the interest of the children.

Teachers for primary and secondary sections should be suitably qualified and with at least 3 years’ experience.
